Las Vegas Mani

I am guilty of another long pause between posts. This time it wasn't because I was being lazy, unfortunately. I had to head over to Las Vegas for some family stuff. It was a downer BUT I did have beautiful nails to stare at in the hot Vegas sun!  I was wearing Nail Nation 3000 Max-a-Million with Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army.  I had applied this polish on Sunday and by the time I got home on Friday, I only had one chip and that was my fault by mishandling my baggage on the airplane.   I really loved this manicure and I hope you do too!

Stamping, a work in progress

Here are my experiments with stamping... I feel that each time I'm getting a little bit better at it, but I'm still having problem areas that I try not to show in the picture!
If anyone has any stamping tips, I'm all ears!

Third attempt with Electric Feel
Fourth attempt with Shrimp Cocktail

Stamping is fun and I'm determined to nail it. One of these days :)

Enchanted Polish Future Reflections

Sorry I've been MIA with the blog... I've been practicing stamping. It's coming along better than I expected but I still have not mastered it.  My biggest problem is getting the image to appear on the entire nail.  When the image is left off on the bottom or top of my nails, or even on the sides I'll try to fix it with the stamper only making it look worse.  I've been all involved with that and I haven't been updating here.  But, I'll make up for it now with some pictures of another gorgeous polish from Enchanted.  This one is also from the Time to Pretend collection and it's called Future Reflections.

Nail Art? Sure, I'll give it a try.

After my semi-success with watermelons I decided to try out some strawberries! I needed a nail art brush in a hurry. I happened to be at the Century City Mall that day with co-workers so I popped into Sephora having remembered seeing a dotting tool & nail art brush there for $10.  I went home that night so excited to try out some strawberries.  I used Enchanted Polish "Stay Classy San Diego" for the base, "Gummy Worm" for the leaves and "Serendipity" for the seeds.

Happy with the outcome above I decided that my next adventure into nail art would be roses.  I just loved seeing manicures with roses on them and really wanted to figure out how to do it. I did some investigating and found a helpful you-tube video. Here is the link in case you're interested.  I can't say the below looks exactly accurate but I'm not bummed with how it turned out.  For my base I used one of my favorite colors, Rescue Beauty Lounge "Aqua Lily", for the flowers and leaves I used OPI Pink Friday, Essie First Dance, and OPI Jade is the New Black. If I'm motivated tonight I may try to flower up the rest of my fingers... we'll see :)

Time To Pretend

I am slowly getting through Enchanted Polish's Time To Pretend collection. I showed you Kids before, and today I have another gorgeous color from that collection to show you -- and this one is named Time to Pretend. I should really listen to some MGMT songs so I can place the polish with the songs! Thanks to Chelsea, every time I hear a song by the Beatles that has the same name of an Enchanted Polish, my mind immediately goes to polish... well, I guess that's nothing too new or different for me :)

Thank Blue and Too

I love blue nail polish. I always have. Lynnderella has two beautiful blues that I adore.  Thank Blue and it's sequel, Thank Blue Too.  I honestly couldn't tell you which one I like more... I think they are both gorgeous.  Which one do you prefer?

Tis the season

Nail art... one day I'll get the right tools and have the patience to really go for it. One of my first attempts is a watermelon manicure. I saw a picture of this manicure last week and immediately had to try and imitate it.  It was perfect timing as I was already wearing Stay Classy San Diego from Enchanted Polish which is a beautiful red holo.  All I needed to do was spice it up!
