Keepin' it Green

Lynnderella's LE Keep It Green! is a stunner.  When I first saw the bottle in person my reaction was -- how does Lynn keep coming up with art in a bottle!
My nails are LONG right now and I've been too lazy to file them so I figured I'd take advantage of the moment and do a gradient. I used Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm on my tips, it is a perfect compliment to Keep It Green!

Girly Bits Crave

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! I was excited to try my friend Mary's custom Girly Bits polish called Crave. It's a beautiful sparkly coral.  I am so thankful to Mary for sharing this polish with me!   After wearing it a day I added Enchanted Polish Austin Powers for some extra gold sparkle and holo.  I love this combo <3

ILNP

I saw some blogger pictures of the new multi-chromes from ILNP and knew I had to try them. I bought the two that appealed to me the most -- Cygnus Loop & Birefringence.  They looked similar yet different and I couldn't decide which one to get so I bought them both! And now that I've tried them both, I feel the same way. They are so much alike yet there are differences that makes me need to keep both of them.

Below I'm wearing Birefringence on my nails except for my pointer finger where I'm wearing Cygnus Loop.  See? You can't really see the difference here... but in person you sure can.  Cygnus Loop is a sultry purple shifting to pink while Birefringence was a little bit of everything happening.  We had purple, blue, pink... It was pretty cool!  But if I had to pick a favorite between the two, I'm not sure I could.

I also wound up using Enchanted Polish Ciao Milano as a topper.  I just couldn't resist. Ciao Milano is quickly becoming one of my favorite polishes and I'm not sure why I waited so long to get it and I wish I would have gotten the rest of the Big City Lights collection from Enchanted when they were available.

Have you tried the ILNP multi-chromes? What are your thoughts?

Randoms

Eeeeek! I know, I'm the worst blogger ever. I don't update enough. But my reason for that is that I am not a real blogger. Not like Sparkly Vernis who is 100% dedicated and blogs daily. I just like to polish my nails and take pictures and when the mood strikes, write about it.  I'm way more active on Instagram.  You can find me there under the name wegotpolish.

My mood today is to show you a few pictures that  I have on my desktop. :)

Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour with Ciao Milano and Djinn in a bottle.

Of the three pictures above, the last one really struck a chord with me.  It was like having a rainbow on my nails. I could not stop staring at this combination and I was sad to remove this manicure.

Lynnderella can be purchased at her ebay store at www.lynnderella.com

That's it for now... I'll be back soon :)

May! And Heart of Hearts!

I won Heart of Hearts off an ebay auction from Lynnderella ages ago. I just had the hardest time finding a color to wear underneath that made the polish pop. I tried a few from my collection, even bought a neon purple but it just wasn't working out.  Until I tried on the May 2013 monthly polish from Enchanted Polish...
Not only is May gorgeous...it just happened to work beautifully with Heart of Hearts! I wish I could have gotten a sunlight picture of May but that just didn't work out this time.  Soon though, because May is too beautiful to not wear again in the near future!
On day one of wearing this manicure I hung out with Sparkly Vernis.  She applied these beautiful nail stickers I'm wearing. I left this manicure on for 5 days I loved it so much! :)

June!

One of my favorite things to collect are the Enchanted monthly polishes.  So far I have them all.  The August color has just been announced so of course I'm anxiously awaiting the launch.  Though I swore to myself I wouldn't get so stressed out over it when I went after the last colors, June & July.  My hands starting tingling from stress.   Anyone else have this happen?

Anyway,  June and July arrived in my mail box last week.  I haven't tried July yet but already June is one of my favorite colors.  It reminded me a bit of the discontinued Sour Patch Kid, which is great because it happens to be one of my favorites!

So, here is June... I topped it off with Lynnderella's Common Sense.  I think this one is being discontinued so hurry up and get it if you like it!

NerdLacquer Nebula

My recent purchase from the last NerdLacquer restock is Nebula.  I have no idea what's going on with future colors or restocks but I'm glad I listened to my friend Abby who claimed this color was a must have.  It is very beautiful! See below :)

Angels...

After a long hiatus, I'm back.  This time I have one of my very favorite polishes by Essie called Shelter Island to show you. This was a gift from my friend Mary.  We call it 'our blue'.  It really is one of the most stunning blue colors I've seen.  I added Lynnderella's limited edition polish from her Advent series called "On Angel Wings".  It's just so beautiful and it is a perfect match for my favorite blue. Mary did this combo first and I loved it so much that I had to try it!

I Love Lumina Lacquer!

I recently bought Lumina Lacquer's Crushing Candy from the lovely Tatiana.  I could not decide on undies. I thought about it for days. I went back and forth and kept changing my mind.  Sparkly Vernis was visiting me and I asked her advice on how to best show off this beautiful polish and she came up with what became one of my favorite combos! See below for pictures :)

Las Vegas Mani

I am guilty of another long pause between posts. This time it wasn't because I was being lazy, unfortunately. I had to head over to Las Vegas for some family stuff. It was a downer BUT I did have beautiful nails to stare at in the hot Vegas sun!  I was wearing Nail Nation 3000 Max-a-Million with Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army.  I had applied this polish on Sunday and by the time I got home on Friday, I only had one chip and that was my fault by mishandling my baggage on the airplane.   I really loved this manicure and I hope you do too!

Stamping, a work in progress

Here are my experiments with stamping... I feel that each time I'm getting a little bit better at it, but I'm still having problem areas that I try not to show in the picture!
If anyone has any stamping tips, I'm all ears!

First time sponge gradient & stamping
Second stamping with I'm Kind of A Big Deal

Third attempt with Electric Feel
Fourth attempt with Shrimp Cocktail

Stamping is fun and I'm determined to nail it. One of these days :)
