Enchanted Polish -- Gummy Worm!

I am SO EXCITED to have Gummy Worm back in my life. I had it once before and sent it to a friend.  This time I am never letting it go!   This was again one of those colors that I didn't want to remove so I played around with a few different looks.  Which look is your favorite?

Whimsy's My Friend Carol

Whimsical Ideas by Pam has a lovely polish called My Friend Carol. I've had this polish for about a year.  The last time I wore it I also used Butter London's Rosie Lee for french tips.  It was one of those a-ha moments where I felt like I struck gold combination-wise.  The other day I wanted to wear that same manicure again.  I hadn't gotten a good photo of it last year so this time I took enough pictures to make up for that.  I also have a much better understanding of top coats now than I did last year and I was able to get the tips smooth thanks to one coat of Dior's Gel top coat and then one coat of HK Girl top coat

Enchanted Polish Kids - WOW!

Kids from Enchanted Polish is from Chelsea's new duo-chrome holographic collection based on songs from MGMT. To be honest I never listened to them, however this morning on KCRW they were playing a song and I'm hearing "Electric Feel" in the lyrics and I assumed it must be a MGMT song as Enchanted also has a polish with that name in this collection. I love that I'm able to identify songs on the radio based on the names of Enchanted polishes . This also goes for the Imagine collection as -- please don't hit me-- I'm not a Beatles fan.  However, every Sunday morning I'm forced to listen to Breakfast with The Beatles on the radio so yeah, I recognize those nail polish names. Back to Kids-- this amazing polish shifts from teal to purple with a stunning holo... check it out below!

Angel Food

Quick post to show off the beautiful Angel Food by Lynnderella.  I paired it with Takko Lacquer's Whimsical which made for a perfect pairing. I was so happy with this combo!

Lynnchanted

At the last restock for Enchanted Polish on her site, I was lucky enough to snatch Love The Way You Lilac.  I loved it so much that I didn't want to remove the color.  I get anxious to polish my nails perhaps more than most people (probably not you if you're reading this), so I added some glitter instead of removing the polish.  I couldn't decide between Lynnderella's Forget You Not & Blue Rouge so I just wore them both.  I was extremely pleased with how this turned out! :)

You're a sucker for French Poetry and Rhinestones

Groundhog Day was on AGAIN last night and I have to watch it every time I catch it on TV, so don't mind the title of this post...Today I have for you a very sparkly glitter polish called I Don't Mean Rhinestones by Lynnderella. It was first released almost a year ago I believe. I've worn it a few times for tips or accent nails. This is my first time using it for a full mani.  There's not much to say about this one... the pictures say it all.  It's gorgeous! For a base color I chose an H&M turquoise given to me by the generous Sparkly Vernis

The 80s

When I was in elementary school I was obsessed with this blue wet n wild color. I have no idea what it was called -- I think it just had a number.  This color was my first polish love. I remember using this color and and placing messy black polka dots on each finger.
I tried finding it on ebay without any luck. I hadn't been able to find a color similar to it either.  It was haunting me. I wanted to see this color again so badly... even just a picture of it. Well, a generous girl I know was sent a box of old polishes and ...this was one of them!!!  She was kind enough to send it to me.  Meet my very first favorite polish from the 80s.
